Each hire hat will be checked on its return for any damage.
Damage is not limited to; Missing or broken trims, flowers and feathers; mishapen, dents, bends in brims; dirty marks; marks from make up; excessive smell of smoke or other unsavoury smells; missing combs, elastics or bands.
Hat Hire is a set fee with no refunds given, even if the hired hat was not worn. Once a hire hat leaves Willmott-Dalton Design, it is considered hired.
Hats with a retail value of $400 upwards will be required to pay a $100 security bond which will be refunded upon return if there is no damage to the hat.
Late returns will incur a late fee of $10 per day.
All boxes and packaging materials are to be returned in the same condition as when picked up. (as is the hat!)
Missing or badly damaged boxes will incur a $15 replacement fee
Packaging and tissue $5 replacement fee
All and any extra fees owed by the hirer on return of a damaged hat or missing box etc, will be required to be paid on the return date on your hire agreement. Any accounts unable to be paid on the return date will be given three days to settle their account.
All outstanding accounts after three days will be passed on to a third party debt collection agency. Any additional collection fees charged by the collection agency will be added to the hirer's account and be payable by them.
